  1. The new art works above were my first attempts at digital art using the program PAINT. I did not want any words to be posted near the images.I simply wanted the effect of powerful, emotional images .These images were my responses to the emotional readings and music and videos I have been exposed to this week when writing my blog. Now I will translate them into real images using paper and color.Feeedback is welcome!

  3. Thank you,I have never done anything like this before so ..well..laying down your emotions without editing for the world to view can be frightening and enlightening.

  4. The sixth one that is just black and white registered to me as a figure that seems bound or cocooned, lying on the floor. The the subsequent images i see a figure indefferent positions. Crawling, leaping, kicking and the last yellow and white image, the viewer is closer and it seems that the figure is reaching out for the viewer. That is what I saw. It would be interesting to hear other's responses.

  5. I was looking at your blog again today. I just really like these doodle art pieces!! I remember playing with the paint program when I was a kid, and so to me these feel very nostalgic and playful and fun. They kind of also remind me of some of the art scribbles my kids make, which are dear to me. I would hang a canvas of the pink one in my dining room! I think it's fun and whimsical.

  6. I love that something so simple can feel like therapy. It reminded me that I should be creating something, even if it is just a doodle, everyday to keep those creative juices flowing. In each of the drawings i see different kinds of flowers or flower-reminiscent shapes.
    Great blog!
